My Ten Secret Weapons
Over the years I’ve discovered some tools of the organizing trade that are needed on almost every job. These tools have saved me in a pinch over and over again.
To keep my tools organized, I just started using this custom Apolis bag. I’m loving that it’s super durable and looks good too.
Here are the organizing secret weapons I always have on hand:
Super Sticky Post-It Notes – Always super sticky. Always.
Classic Black Sharpie – I should probably buy stock in Sharpie.
P Touch Label Maker – Sometimes a printed label is the way to go. Don’t forget the extra tape.
Paint Pens – For when a chalk label or writing directly on a bin is the plan.
Command Hooks – These quickly installed and easily removable hooks always come in handy.
Regular Old Tape Measure – Our motto: Measure once. Then measure again.
Electric Tape Measure – The day I made this discovery was 100.
IKEA Bags – Seriously the best $1.49 you’ll ever spend. It’s the best for hauling donations.
Painters Tape – Perfect for making temporary labels, marking spaces, the list goes on and on.
Sticker Lifter – I use this, along with Goo Be Gone, for those labels that won’t budge.
